Ara Malikian Concert
Ara Malikian is a Lebanese violinist of Armenian descent living in Spain. His father introduced him to the violin at a very early age. His talent was recognised at an early age, despite the difficult conditions he had to live in during the Lebanese civil war, where he even had to work in bomb shelters for a long time, but which led him to emigrate in search of a better future. Having given his first concert at the age of 12 and having made history as the youngest musician to be accepted to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover at the age of 15, Ara Malikian is a groundbreaking talent in the music world. Known for his unique style that blends classical oriental jazz, gypsy rock and Latin music, and for his art inspired by Niccolò Paganini and Bach, Malikian won the Latin Grammy Award in 2015.
